The function of a medium-performance filter is to remove dust and particles with a size of 1 to 10 microns from the air. The medium-performance filter is used as a pre-treatment for high-performance filters and also serves as the final filter in the AHU (Air Handling Unit) of a building. In the air conditioning system of a building, the polluted dust in the externally introduced and internally circulated air is first removed by the pre-filter. However, tiny dust particles can still pass through it and enter the indoor environment. As a result, the indoor cleanliness cannot be maintained, which leads to a decrease in work efficiency and the production of defective products. Therefore, a medium-efficiency filter is installed after the pre-filter to ensure the cleanliness of the indoor environment. Commonly used types are the hanging type.
